Markings: The barrel is marked “C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the Colt and Colt Rampant Logo, “AR-15 A2 GOV’T CARBINE CAL .223 SER. LGC047597 / COLT DEFENSE / HARTFORD CONN / U.S.A., “SAFE FIRE”. The Bolt Carrier is marked “C” on the left side and the neck of the bolt head is marked “MPC”. The right side of the gas block has A2 Forge Marks. The carry handle has a bell and C forge mark, The right side of the receiver is marked “RESTRICTED MILITARY / GOVERNMENT LAW ENFORCEMENT / EXPORT USE ONLY”
Barrel Length: 16” – 17 ¼ “ With flash hider
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an A2 style triangle gas block and post sight with protective wings. The rear sight is a fixed carry handle with an adjustable peep sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The pistol grip is an A2 style checkered polymer grip. The buttstock is a collapsible buttstock with 4 locking positions, sling ring and checkered buttplate. The handguard is a carbine length M4 style oval handguard. The LOP measures 13 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the fully extended buttplate. Overall the stock rates in Excellent condition. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering on the grip is crisp.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
