Markings: The left side of the frame is marked with Italian proof marks including “20” in a box which is the Italian date code for 2020. The right side of the barrel is marked “RHINO 200DS / .357 MAGNUM / Made in Italy by Chiappa Firearms / Chiappa Firearms, Dayton, OH” and features the serial number “CFIT20G00388” and a circled outline of a Rhino. The cylinder is serial matched and has Italian proof marks. The serial number on the cylinder is marked “CFIT20F05165”.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a red fiber-optic rod pinned to a ramp integral to the rib. The rear sight is a rectangular notch grooved in the top strap and the precocker has a rectangular notch as well.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grips are two-piece black textured rubber similar to wood bark. The grips have some light handling marks but lack any notable defects. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grip is in Excellent condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is some minor copper fouling throughout. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operation wear. There is slightly more operation wear on the rear face of the 9mm cylinder. There is a turn line on both cylinders. The markings are clear. The screwheads are sharp to faintly tool marked. Overall, the revolver is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The single-action trigger is crisp and double-action is smooth. The cylinder locks with barely perceptible play on each chamber. We have not fired this revolver. As with all used firearms, it may need a thorough cleaning to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The pistol comes with its serial matched box, its mentioned 9mm cylinder assembly, Rhino leather holster, 6 Moon Clips (3 for .357 and 3 for 9mm), Cylinder protective disk, takedown tool, owner’s manual, and internal parts kit.
