Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “2-15056-05” and WASR-2 / Cal. 5.45x39mm”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “MADE BY CN ROMARM SA/CUGIR / IN ROMANIA / IMPORTED CAI GEORGIA.VT.”.   The rear of the dust cover is marked “15056”.  The underside of the rear sight is marked “15056” in electric pencil.  The left side of the bolt is marked “15056”.  The rear sight is marked “1-10” with “D” for the battle position.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an open adjustable post sight with protective wings. The rear sight is an adjustable leaf sight. The left side of the receiver has a Kalashnikov Sight Rail for all of your favorite AK style sights and optics.  This AK comes with a POSP 6×24 scope.  The sight picture is clear.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The buttstock is wood with a sling ring and metal buttplate with trap door for cleaning kit storage compartment.  (No cleaning kit included).   The two piece handguard is wood with appropriate hand swells.  It is a straight cut receiver.   The receiver is a desirable X Y receiver with dimples.  There is no bayonet lug as it has been filed down to comply with the ban but it still has its cleaning Rod.  The charging handle is slightly upswept.

Bore Condition:  The bore is bright and the rifling is mostly sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear from previous use. There are scratches on the receiver and on the dust cover as well as on the barrel.  The screw heads are sharp and serviceable and the pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good Condition.

Mechanics: The action functions very well. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a 30rd 5.45×39 East German Bakelite Magazine, its POSP Scope with rubber eyepiece. Scope case, target sheet, and owner’s manuals.
