Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING MODEL 12 20GA-2 34″ SHELLS ONLY MOD.” “NP” is marked on top of the barrel left of the vent rib. The right side of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.” / “MADE IN JAPAN”. The left side of the receiver is marked with an engraving of a framed waterfowl in wetlands, with flora surrounding the frame, along with the artist’s name, ” Maass”. There is a large ‘CAUTION’ sticker over the engraving. The right side of the receiver is engraved with framed flying pheasants with flora around the frame. “Ducks Unlimited” is also engraved. The top of the receiver is marked with “NP”. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number, and the Ducks Unlimited logo engraved on the trigger guard. The bottom of the receiver extension is marked with an alignment arrow and partial serial number.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed silver bead atop the vent-rib. The barrel and receiver is also serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is two piece checkered high gloss wood with a capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a hard Browning buttplate. The checkering is crisp and defined. The stocks have minor handling scuffs and nicks. The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the buttplate. The stocks rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bore is mirror bright. There is no erosion in the bore. There are faint scratches along the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish with only very minor handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes a non-matching Browning Factory Box and Owner’s Manual.

Chambered in 20 gauge, the platform offers a lighter-recoiling alternative to the 12 gauge while maintaining excellent field performance, particularly for upland and light waterfowl applications.
This example features a 26″ vent-rib barrel with a fixed Modified choke, offering a well-balanced configuration suited to a variety of shooting scenarios. The shotgun remains in Excellent condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original blue and silver finish with only minimal handling wear. The high-gloss checkered wood stocks present attractively with crisp checkering and only minor marks, and the bore is mirror bright with a strong rating.
