Action Type: Over Under Shotgun, with Single Selective Inertial Trigger, Ejectors, and non automatic resetting safety.
Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU”. The left of the barrel lug is marked “INVECTOR PLUS 28″”. The right of the top barrel is marked “CITORI SPECIAL STEEL 12GA-2 3/4″”. The inside of the forend iron is marked “01764” and the inside of the forend is stamped “BA 01764”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked with the serial number. The receiver is marked “XS SKEET”. The bottom of the trigger guard has a Browning logo. The monobloc is marked “01764ZZ” and all the proofs.
Barrel Length: 28″ Ported with Vent high Rib.
Choke: The barrels are threaded for Invector plus chokes. Currently installed with Stainless Browning Cylinder over Cylinder. Also includes Two Skeet chokes and one Improved Cylinder. 5 chokes total.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white fiber litepipe sight at the front of the barrel mounted on top of the vent rib. There is also a white mid bead.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two piece walnut set with a checkered semi-beavertail forend with finger shelf and a checkered right handed palm swelled close radius semi pistol grip stock with fluted straight comb and rubber butt pad. The length of pull is adjustable at the trigger shoe and is currently set to 14.25″. The drop at comb is 1.5″ the drop at heel is 1.5″. The cast is essentially neutral. The shotgun weighs 8lbs 2oz. There are no chips or cracks. The top two rear edges of the forend show compressions and some flaking finish. The wood shows some light surface level lines and scattered minor compressions. The pommel shows some flaking finish as well. The butt pad shows some very minor rub marks and is still pliable and soft. Overall the stock set is in about Very Good+ condition.
Type of Finish: Blued and Coin with a gold toned trigger and inlays.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bores are mirror bright with no erosion. They show some plastic fouling and some minor lines from use. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.25/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The monoblock shows only barely visible rub wear. The barrel set shows some very minor scattered marks with some rub wear from the forend that is concealed when assembled. The trigger retains its finish. The upper tang shows some very minor rub wear from the safety. The inside of the action shows some minor rub wear. The markings are clear. The action is smooth. Overall this shotgun is in about Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun features a single selective trigger and ejectors. The barrels lock up solidly. The safety and barrel selector functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Browning Citori XS Skeet, manufactured in 2011, is a 12 gauge over/under featuring 28-inch ported barrels with 2.75-inch chambers and Invector-Plus choke threading. The XS Skeet line is purpose-built for competitive skeet shooting, offering refined handling characteristics and a higher point of impact. This example is the high rib variant, designed to promote a more upright shooting posture and improved sight picture, complemented by a LitePipe front sight and mid bead.
The shotgun is fitted with a two-piece walnut furniture set, including a checkered semi-beavertail forend with finger shelf and a right-handed palm-swelled, close-radius semi-pistol grip stock. The stock features a fluted straight comb and is finished with a rubber butt pad for recoil absorption.
