Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN / MIROKU”. The left of the monoblock is marked “22408 / INVECTOR”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with “NP 2 3/4”. The right side of the top barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 28GA-2 3/4”. The inside of the forend iron is marked “22408” and the inside of the forend is stamped “HA 22408”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked with “22408MZ131” and “S U O”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING CITORI”. The bottom of the trigger guard has a Buck Mark logo. The buttpad is marked “BROWNING”.
Barrel Length: 28” Vent-Rib.
Choke: This Shotgun is threaded for Browning Invector 28 Gauge interchangeable chokes. Currently installed are 2 Browning chokes. Both are Skeet marked.
Sights / Optics: There is a white painted silver bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered for the purpose of reducing glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock and forend are a two piece checkered walnut furniture set. The stock is a prince of Wales grip, fluted straight comb, with a black plastic Browning buttplate. The stock wood shows minor scattered lines, compressions, and scratches. There is a small chip at the belly of the stock. The checkering is sharp, with some compressed spots on the left side of the forend. The LOP measures approximately 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock has a neutral cast. The drop at comb is 1.25” and the drop at heel is 1.75”. The buttplate shows only very minor wear at the heel. Overall the wood on this shotgun is in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright with no erosion. The chambers show some debris and light stubborn fouling. The bores show minor lines from use with some minor plastic fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9/10.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrel set shows some rub wear from the forend that is covered when assembled. The balance of the finish shows a few minor scattered marks. The receiver has turned a light plum color. The inside of the action shows rub wear on the friction surfaces. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and the pins are clean. Overall, this gun rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun features a single selective inertial trigger and ejectors. The barrels lock up solidly. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened but does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
