Our Assessment: This Browning Citori Lightning Field, manufactured in 1991, is a .410 bore over/under with 3-inch chambers and 28-inch barrels. The Lightning Field configuration is known for its lively handling and field-oriented design, and in .410 bore it represents one of the more refined, and in the sporting clays world challenging, sporting options. The shotgun features a Prince of Wales grip stock crafted from high-gloss finished walnut, paired with blued barrels and receiver for a classic and elegant appearance.

The barrels are marked full over modified; however, measurement with a choke gauge indicates a configuration closer to modified over improved cylinder, which is not uncommon due to manufacturing tolerances or later evaluation differences. Overall, this example represents a well-balanced and attractive small-bore Citori, combining traditional styling with desirable handling characteristics in a sought-after .410 configuration and Excellent+ condition.
