Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “* Special Steel – 16 Gauge – Shells 2 3/4″.” The left side of the receiver is engraved with decorative scroll patterns and features the Browning Arms logo. The barrel is also marked “Browning Arms Company St. Louis Mo.” Additional Belgian proof marks are located near the chamber. The serial number “R95012” is stamped on the underside of the receiver.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass bead, mounted on the barrel. The top of the receiver is serrated to reduce glare while aiming.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is in a 2 piece wood configuration featuring a fluted straight comb, plastic buttplate, prince of whales checkered grip, and a checkered forend. The LOP is 14.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are some minor handling marks present but no chips or cracks. The stock rates in Very Good condition.

Bore Condition:
The bore is bright with no visible erosion. In this writer’s opinion. In this writers opinion the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling wear. There are scattered small scratches and nicks on the metal surfaces. The screw heads are unmarred, and the markings are clear and legible. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
