Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BRNO ARMS – CZECHOSLOVAKIA”. The left side of the receiver is marked “ZKK-601” with the Brno logo. The chamber is marked “CAL 308W”. The right side of the receiver has the serial number “41713”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded ramp base with a beaded blade. The receiver has scope bases for mounting an optic.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features a walnut stock with checkering on the grip and forend. Capped pistol grip, fluted raised comb with cheek piece, and a vented rubber buttpad. The LOP measures 14 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the checkered buttplate. The stock has some handling marks and minor finish wear but is free of cracks or major damage. The checkering remains well-defined. The stock rates in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original metal finish. There is light handling wear, some thinning on edges, and minor oxidation on exposed metal parts. The receiver shows light wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
