Sights / Optics:  The sights are open iron sights. The front sight is a red dotted blade, integral to the slide. The rear sight is a two red dot rectangular notched rear sight dovetailed to the slide. 3-Dot System.  

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two-piece textured rubber grip set with smooth borders. The grips show only minor superficial handling and storage marks. The texturing is well defined, and the grips fit tightly to the frame, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Excellent condition.        

Magazine Quantity & Condition: 1x 15rd factory magazine, in Very Good condition. The magazine shows light operational wear.     

Type of Finish: Stainless

Finish Originality: Original.  

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is some minor fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10. 

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minor superficial handling and storage marks. The stainless finish is intact throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are sharp, and the pins are unmarred. Overall, this pistol rates in Excellent condition.  

Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety/decocker. We did not fire this handgun, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.  

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with its original serial number matching box and plastic hard case, along with the magazine as mentioned above.    

Our Assessment: The Beretta 92FS is one of the most recognizable service pistols of the late 20th century, adopted by the U.S. military as the M9 and widely respected for its reliability, accuracy, and refined DA/SA operating system. The 9mm Luger cartridge, introduced in 1902 and now the most widely used service pistol round in the world, offers balanced recoil, strong terminal performance, and broad ammunition availability. The stainless 92FS variant adds corrosion resistance and a distinctive appearance to the classic open-slide, locking block design that has defined the platform for decades.

This example retains approximately 99 percent of its original stainless finish, with only minor superficial handling marks. The 4.9 inch barrel shows a bright bore with sharp rifling, rating 10 out of 10. The rubber grip panels remain in Excellent condition, and the pistol includes its original matching box, hard case, and one 15 round factory magazine. The action and ambidextrous safety decocker function correctly, and overall this pistol presents as a clean, well-kept representation of the iconic 92FS design.
