Markings: The upper tang is marked “M93289B”. The left side of the receiver is marked “P.Beretta”. The trigger plate is marked “PATENTED” and is signed “Bottega C. Giovanelli”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY / P. Beretta / S687EELL / Diamond Pigeon”. There are a few proofs on the watertable. The right side of the receiver is marked “P.Beretta”. The buttpad is marked “P.BERETTA”. All sides of the receiver, the lever, trigger guard, tang, and screws are beautifully engraved with floral engraving while the receivers display different fowl scenes. The jeweled steel in both the forends is marked “M93289B”.

Barrel Length: Both barrel sets are 26.5” in length.
Choke: 28 Gauge barrel set is cut for Beretta Mobil Chokes currently installed IC/IC also includes 2 x MOD, 2 x FULL, 1 x SKEET, and one IM. The 20 Gauge barrel set is also cut for Beretta Mobil Chokes, currently installed are Briley SKEET/IC, also includes Beretta 1 x FULL, 1 x IC, and 1 x IM.
Sights / Optics: Both Barrel sets have a small brass bead mounted to the front of the rib. Both ribs are finely checkered for the purpose of reducing glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two-piece checkered select walnut with traditional Schnable forends and a semi pistol grip, fluted straight comb, thin wrist stock with a Beretta rubber buttpad. The stock has a small mark in the left side checkering, a small depression in the pommel and two small punch marks on the right side. The grip checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.5? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The cast is slightly right handed. The pad has light wear but is still supple. The forend wood shows very little wear on both sets. Overall, the furniture set is in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Blued and French Gray.
Finish Originality: The finish is Original to the parts.
Bore Condition: All four smooth bores are mirror bright. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 99% of its metal finish. The receiver shows almost no signs of wear. The barrel sets show very minor wear that is concealed when assembled. The engraving is beautiful to see in person. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does not set automatically but functions properly when set manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes the chokes as mentioned above in a case, Owner’s manuals and paperwork, gun socks, and a Beretta lockable case.
