Markings: The upper tang is marked “E82186B”. The left side of the receiver is marked “P.Beretta”. The trigger plate is marked “PATENTED / Mod. 687 EELL” and is signed “Bottega C. Giovanelli”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “GARDONE VT / ITALY”. The top of the receiver at the lip is marked “PB”. There are a few proofs on the watertable. The right side of the receiver is marked “P.Beretta”. The buttpad is marked “KICKEEZ”. All sides of the receiver, the break actuator, trigger guard, tang, and screws are beautifully engraved with floral engraving while the receivers display different fowl scenes. The jeweled steel in the forend is marked “82186”.
MonoTop Barrel Set: The left side of the barrel is marked “P.Beretta-GardoneV.T.- ITALY-PB” over some proofs and inspection marks and “Mono Top – 12GA. 2 ¾” – 32” F. The right side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA USA CORP.. ACKK, MD. MADE IN ITALY”, and “-EXCELSIOR-HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL-”. The bottom barrel is marked “BB 54-1”. The lug is marked “E 82186 B” with a series of inspection marks including the date code “AS”.
Un-Single Barrel: The left side of the barrel is marked top barrel is marked “P.Beretta-GardoneV.T.-ITALY / Mono- 12 GA. 2 ¾”-32”-F”. The left side of the barrel is marked “-EXCELSIOR-HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL-CAL.12”.

O/U: The barrels are threaded for Mobil chokes with Modified over Improved Modified installed.
Un-Single: Threaded for interchangeable chokes. Comes with a set of Briley Mod, Full, XFull, LMod, IMod.
The 28GA Sleeve is threaded for interchangeable chokes. Comes with a Full and Modified choke.
Sights / Optics: The Un-Single barrel set has a Faux Ivory bead at the front of the checkered vent rib with a mid-bead. The Monotop barrel has a rib fiber optic rod at the front of the checkered vent rib with a mid-bead.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a two-piece checkered select walnut with a finger-grooved forend and a KickEEZ rubber buttpad. The stock has minor handling wear with only a few scattered light marks. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.25? from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The cast is about neutral, but the comb is adjusted out to the right. The pad has light wear but is still supple. Overall, the stocks are in Fine condition.
Type of Finish: Blue and silver.
Finish Originality: The finish is Original to the parts.
Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 97% of its metal finish. There is minor operational wear, mostly concealed while assembled. There are a few scattered minor marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Fine-Excellent condition as not parts original.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does not set automatically but functions properly when set manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
