Markings: The upper tang is marked “U73296B ONYX”. The left and right side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY BERETTA 686 Onyx PRO”. The left side of the top barrel is marked “12 GA. 3” – 28” BERETTA – MADE IN ITALY GARDONE, V.T.”. The right side of the top barrel is marked “BERETTA USA CORP.. ACKK, MD. WARNING – READ INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR SAFE OPERATION BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA”. The bottom of the stock is marked “WOOD XTRA”. The buttpad is marked “GEL-TEK”. The forend iron is marked “U73296B”. The water table has several proofs. The bottom of the monoblock is marked “U73296B”. Under the forend is marked “KG 1.390 CAM .76”, “18.4”, “EXCELSIOR – HIGH STRENGTH ALLOYED STEEL 18.4 518128” and the date code “BZ”.

Choke: The barrels are cut for Beretta MOBIL Chokes. Currently installed Full over Modified. Also Includes Improved Modified, Improved Cylinder, and Skeet. 5 extended chokes total.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is equipped with a green fiber optic front sight and fully checkered rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The wood furniture is a two piece Beretta XTRA WOOD stock set. The stock is checkered full pistol grip, fluted straight comb stock with gel buttpad. The forend is a checkered forend with a full length finger shelf. The wood has been laser engraved on the right side with “PHEASANTS FOREVER DODGE COUNTY CHAPTER #387 7th ANNUAL BANQUET 2013”. The wood on the forend shows a small spot on the left side of the nose where the finish has bubbled. Most likely just from storage. The stock shows only very minor storage wear. The gel pad is still soft. The length of pull is 14.75”. The cast is right handed. The drop at comb is 1.5” the drop at heel is 2.25”. Overall the wood is in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores. The top barrel has some minor plastic fouling most likely from being test fired. The bottom barrel appears unfired. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains 99% of its metal finish. There are a few small stains from being stored with the factory oil that should be able to be removed with a proper cleaning. The markings are clear. Overall this shotgun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does set automatically after firing. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes the original locking blue plastic case, owner’s manual, paperwork, extra buttpad, chokes, oil, and wrench.
