Markings: The frame is marked, “S06684A / 471” under the lever, “BERETTA” on either side of the frame, “BERETTA MOD. 471 SILVER HAWK” on the underside. The frame has floral scrollwork. The forend is marked, “E M” The top of the barrels are marked, “BERETTA / Beretta U.S.A. Corp. Ackk MD. / 12 ga 3” – 28” / Beretta-Gardone V.T. Made In Italy” with a safety warning. The barrel flat is marked, “S06684A” with proofs. The underside of the barrels are marked, “-Excelsior – high strength alloyed steel -” There are various proofs throughout.

Choke: The barrels are cut for Beretta Chokes, currently installed Improved Cylinder, Cylinder. Also comes with a Modified, Improved Modified, and Full choke.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is equipped with a silver bead at the front of the rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: This shotgun has a two piece checkered walnut stock with a push button beavertail forend, semi-pistol grip, straight comb, with a hard rubber buttpad. There is no notable wear, there are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp.The length of pull is 14 1/2”. Overall the wood is in Excellent to Like New condition. The stock has a right hand cast.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores. There is some light fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rates at a 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains approximately 99% of its metal finish. There is some minor wear on the metal that is covered when the shotgun is assembled. Most of the wear is from the gun being assembled and disassembled and most likely not from use, there is a small scratch on the right barrel. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The action locks up tight with no play. The safety does set automatically after firing. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes the original locking blue plastic case, owner’s manual, paperwork, chokes, sling loops, and choke wrench.
