Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SPORTING / BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / 12 GA. 3” – 76 – 30””. The right side of the barrel is marked “WARNING – READ INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR SAFE OPERATION / BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA / BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD / ALLOYED CR. MO. QUENCHED HIGH TENSILE STEEL”, various specifications and Italian proof marks, and a date code. The left side of the receiver is marked “P. Beretta / AL391 Urika”, “PATENTED”, “Sport”, and features scroll engraving. The right side of the receiver is marked “AL391 Urika – 12 ga.”, “Made in Italy”, “AA196836”, and the Beretta logo. The bottom side of the receiver is marked with three proof marks and the date code “BS”.
Barrel Length: 30” With Vent Rib. The barrel has angle ports on each side of the rib.
Choke: The barrel is threaded for interchangeable Optima-Chokes. Has a CYL-12 extended Choke installed.
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a faux ivory dot bead threaded into the finely checkered ventilated rib at the muzzle with a smaller silver bead at the midway point. The receiver is serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two piece checkered walnut set with a pistol grip, straight comb, and black rubber Kick EEZ buttpad. There are several nicks and scratches scattered about the buttstock and a few minor handling marks on the forend. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The pad has scattered rub marks. The stocks rate in about Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with no erosion. There is some minor fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 80% of its original metal finish. There is oxidation and corrosion scattered about the barrel and receiver. The heaviest amount of rust freckling is on the barrel exterior around the chamber and the receiver. There are scratches, scuffs, and minor nicks on the receiver. The markings are clear. The jeweling on the bolt and the lifter show little wear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fair-Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
