Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SPORTING / BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / OB 12 GA. 3” – 76 – 30”” and “OPTIMA – BORE”. The right side of the barrel is marked “WARNING – READ INSTRUCTION BOOK FOR SAFE OPERATION / BOOK FREE FROM BERETTA / BERETTA USA CORP. ACKK. MD / ALLOYED CR. MO. QUENCHED HIGH TENSILE STEEL”, various specifications and Italian proof marks, a date code, and “AB372097”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “527878”. The left side of the receiver is marked “P. Beretta / AL391 Urika”, “PATENTED”, “Sport”, and features scroll engraving. The right side of the receiver is marked “AL391 Urika – 12 ga.”, “Made in Italy”, “AA218229”, and the Beretta logo. The aftermarket bolt release is marked “BRILEY”. The bottom side of the receiver is marked with three proof marks and the date code “BS”.
Barrel Length: 30” With Vent Rib
Choke: The barrel is threaded for interchangeable Optima-Chokes. The installed choke is Full. Also included is an Improved Modified, one Improved Cylinder, and one Skeet.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a red dot bead threaded into the finely checkered ventilated rib at the muzzle with a smaller silver bead at the midway point. The receiver is serrated to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece checkered wood set with a grooved forearm, pistol grip with right palm swell, adjustable comb, and a black Decelerator buttpad. There is a compressed line on the right side of the buttstock. There are other sparsely scattered tiny nicks and minor handling marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the front of the gold trigger to the rear of the Decelerator rubber buttpad. The stocks rate in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its original metal finish. There is no significant wear or damage, only light handling marks.. The markings are clear. The jeweling on the bolt and the lifter show little wear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun comes with the previously mentioned additional choke tubes and the installed Briley bolt release.
Our Assessment: This is a beautiful Beretta AL391 Urika Sport Gold semi-automatic shotgun. This shotgun is in beautiful condition, having obviously been very well cared for over the last 20 years.
