The left side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / HP 28 Ga. 76 mm for 2 3/4″, 3″-28″-13.9”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “0721338”. The right side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA”, “A400 UPLAND 3313DU2025 IT25”. The left side of the receiver is marked “MADE IN ITALY – PATENTED DUCKS UNLIMITED SINCE 1937 A400 UPLAND 28 GA.”. The bolt is marked “BLINK” with the serial number. The top of the receiver “DUCKS UNLIMITED”.
Barrel Length: 28″
Choke: The barrel is threaded for Beretta Optima-HP chokes currently installed with Full. Also includes Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified and Improved Modified. 5 chokes total.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange fiber optic rod fixed to the finely checkered vent rib. The top of the receiver is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this shotgun is a checkered wood, two piece set, with a thin profile finger grooved forend, semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb stock with the kick-off dampener system and rubber buttpad with two sling studs. The LOP is 14.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt pad. Drop at comb is 1.25″ and drop at heel is 2.” This can also be adjusted with the shim. The cast is slightly right handed. The shotgun weighs 6lbs 4 OZ. The furniture set shows minor handling with no notable marrs or marks. Overall the furniture is in about Like New condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bore is Very Bright and shows no erosion. There are barely visible lines from use and some very minor plastic fouling in the forcing cone consistent with factory testing. If this barrel has been shot outside of factory testing it was very little. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: Like New in Box.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

At the heart of the shotgun is Beretta’s proven A400 gas-operated action, one of the fastest cycling and softest shooting semi-automatic systems on the market. The gas system is designed to reliably handle a wide range of loads while reducing felt recoil and maintaining excellent durability. Complementing the action is Beretta’s Kick-Off stock system, which utilizes hydraulic dampeners built into the stock to further reduce recoil before it reaches the shooter. While recoil is already mild in a 28 gauge, the combination of the A400 action and Kick-Off system makes this shotgun remarkably comfortable to shoot for extended periods.
