Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “BENELLI ARMI S.P.A.-URBINO-MADE IN ITALY” with a series of proofs including the date code “CF”.  The right side of the barrel is marked “12 GA. 3” – 76mm FOR 2 ¾” OR 3” SHELLS / READ OWNER’S MANUAL BEFORE USING GUN”, “TM40500”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “m4”, “BENELLI-ITALY”, “Y036934”.  The right side of the rear sight is marked “LPA ITALY”.  The left side of the receiver is marke with a series of proofs including the date code “CF”. The buttpad is marked “BENELLI”.

Choke: Threaded for interchangeable chokes with Modified currently installed.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is an adjustable two white dotted Ghost-Ring. The front sight is a tritium dotted adjustable post protected by two protective wings. The top of the receiver is fitted with a picatinny rail for the mounting of optics.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture is a two piece black synthetic with serrated forend collapsible Benelli buttstock.  The handguard is synthetic with serrations for increased grip control.  The buttstock features serrated pistol grip, adjustable LOP, rubber buttpad, and QD cup. The stocks shows faint handling wear including a few hard to notice scratches. There are no chips or cracks. The furniture rates in about Excellent overall condition. The left side of the receiver is mounted with a 8 capacity side saddle.

Bore Condition: The smooth bore is bright. There is no visible erosion.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish.There is minor finish loss on top of the ejection port. There is a small scuff on the left side of the receiver.   The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
