Action Type: Top-Break Over/Under Double Shotgun with Single Selective Trigger (inertial) and Individual Ejectors with a non re-setting safety.

Markings: The left of the top barrel is marked “MIROKU FIREARMS MFG. CO., KOCHI, JAPAN.”, above the left ejector arm is “+” and below is “+-PLUS”, above the hinge lug on the left is”77763″. The monobloc is marked with a series of proofs and “BSA NY MILLBROOK”. The top right barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 12GA-2/34”” The inside of the forend iron is marked “77763” and “A77763”. The top tang is marked “77763MX”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “B.C. MIROKU MK-38 TRAP”. The receiver has decorative engraving.

Barrel Length: 32”

Choke: This Shotgun has been modified from its original FULL over IMPROVED MODIFIED configuration by TEAGUE and cut for TEAGUE Long 12 Gauge flush thin wall Chokes. Currently installed with IMPROVED CYLINDER/ IMPROVED CYLINDER.

Sights/ Optics: There is a white bead at the front of the rib with a smaller white mid bead. The top of the rib is serrated for glare reduction.

Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The furniture is a two-piece gloss, checkered walnut with finger-grooved forend, thin wrist pistol grip, fluted straight comb and a Decelerator buttpad. The stock shows handling wear with scattered nicks, scuffs and scratches and a small depression on the right side about 1.5” back from the fluted part of the comb. The buttpad is still soft and supple with very little wear. The checkering is sharp. The forend shows similar wear with a notable scratch on the nose and one compression on the right side mid way back at the top. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the furniture is in about Fine Condition. The LOP is 14.5 from the aftermarket wide trigger shoe to the back of the buttpad. The Drop at comb is 1.5” and drop at heel is 1 5/8ths inches.

Type of Finish: Blued, and Satin Finished Receiver.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright with no erosion and almost no marks from use. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The barrel set shows some rub wear under the handguard, with some very minor lines scattered throughout the finish with some finish thinning on the muzzle. The receiver shows almost no wear with just some rough machining on the inside of the trigger guard. The monoblock has rub marks that are concealed when in battery as well. The action is smooth. Overall this shotgun is in about Fine to Fine + condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The safety does not automatically reset when the action is opened. The barrels lock with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
