Action Type: Top-Break Over/Under Double Shotgun with Single Selective Trigger (inertial) and Individual Ejectors with a non re-setting safety.
Markings: The right side of the top barrel is marked “MIROKU FIREARMS MFG. CO., KOCHI, JAPAN.”, above and below the left ejector arm is “SS”, above the hinge lug on the left is”S231245″. The monobloc is marked with a series of proofs. The top left barrel is marked “CHARLES DALY 28GA-2 ¾””” The inside of the forend iron is marked “231245” and “S231245”. The top tang is marked “231245”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “B.C. MIROKU”. The receiver has decorative engraving. The lower tang is marked “231245”.

Choke: This shotgun has fixed Skeet over Skeet barrels.
Sights/ Optics: There is a silver bead at the front of the rib with a smaller silver mid bead. The top of the rib is finely checkered for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The furniture is a two-piece gloss, checkered walnut with thin rounded forend, thin wrist prince of Wales grip, fluted straight comb and a Kick-EEZ buttpad. The stock shows handling wear with scattered nicks, scuffs and scratches with a notable marr on the left side about mid way back from the grip . The buttpad is still soft and supple with very little wear. The checkering is well defined with semi-dulled peaks. There is also a notable compression on the right side of the stock. The forend shows almost no wear with a few very small marks. There is a small chip in the toe of the polymer spacer between the stock and the buttpad. Overall the furniture is in about Very Good Condition. The LOP is 14.25 from the trigger shoe to the back of the buttpad. The Drop at comb is 1.5” and drop at heel is 2 5/8ths inches.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright with no erosion and almost no marks from use. There is some barely visible plastic fouling present. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The barrel set shows some extremely minor rub wear under the handguard, with some very minor lines scattered throughout the finish with some finish thinning on the muzzle. The receiver shows very little wear with just finish loss from where the safety and lever rub on the upper tang. The monoblock has rub marks that are concealed when in battery as well. The action is smooth. Overall this shotgun is in about Very Good to Very Good + condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including ejectors. The safety does not automatically reset when the action is opened. The barrels lock with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
