Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked “AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION / WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A.” The right side is marked “MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO. KH8032”. The right side also has patent markings, including various U.S. patent numbers. The top of the receiver is marked “THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE”. The safety and fire selector switch area are marked “SAFE” and “FIRE” respectively.
Barrel Length: 16.5” plus a muzzle break
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a fixed blade. The rear sight is an adjustable aperture.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock set consists of a fixed walnut buttstock, a foregrip, and a pistol grip. The wood is smooth with a satin finish, showing no major blemishes or handling wear. The LOP measures 17 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the steel buttplate. The stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows minimal handling wear. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are clean. The markings are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
