The right side of the receiver is marked with the US Patents and “AUTO-ORDNANCE CORPORATION / WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, U.S.A.”. The left side of the receiver is marked with “MODEL OF 1927 A1 / NO. KP1990” “THOMPSON SEMI-AUTOMATIC CARBINE / CALIBER .45 AUTOMATIC CARTRIDGE” “FIRE/SAFE”. The rear sight is marked with numbers”1-6”. The Cutts compensator is marked with the Thompson trade mark.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade dovetailed to the Cutts Compensator. The rear sight is a notch sight that flips up into a ladder aperture sight.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The fixed buttstock, pistol grip, and foregrip are walnut wood with smooth surfaces. The grips have finger grooves. The receivers are steel. The buttplate is a smooth curved metal buttplate. The LOP is 17.25” from front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The stocks rate in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original finish.There are a few light scratches on top of the receiver and a few scuffs on the Cutts Compensator. There is some light insert wear on the magwell. The screw heads are sharp and serviceable. The markings are clear. Overall this rifle rates in about Excellent overall condition.
