Markings: The top of the receiver is marked, “MADE IN AUSTRIA Original Mannlicher Schoenauer Mod. MCA kal. .30-06” The right side is marked, “49694”. The left side is marked, “STEYR – DAIMLER – PUCH A/G., STEYR”. The barrel is marked with the serial number and, “ON M3170 StLf3”. There are various small proofs throughout.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded post dovetailed to a raised knurled base. The rear sight is a two position flip-up V-notch dovetailed to a barrel mounted base. There is a Lyman All American 4x scope mounted.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a single piece checkered walnut full length Mannlicher stock with a steel forend cap, sling bar, capped semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb w/ cheekpiece in the Monte-Carlo style, sling loop, and serrated plastic buttplate. There are some minor scratches and pressure dents throughout. The checkering is mostly sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 14 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in at about Good to Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright and the rifling is sharp. There is light erosion in the bore and no pitting, but there is some light stubborn fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its metal finish. There is minor action wear. There are some small scratches and nicks throughout. The bolt has light spots of patina. The screw heads are lightly tooled, the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. This rifle features double set triggers.
