Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked “94121698” and the dust cover is marked “04727”. Lower receiver on the left side is marked “MAK-90: SPORTER / CAL. 7.62x39MM”, “NORINCO”,  “MADE IN CHINA”,  “C.J.A SPLD MI”. Right side of receiver is marked “S” and “F” and the right side of the bolt carrier group is marked “21698”. Rear sight is marked with numbers “1-8” and “D”.   The top of the handguard on the metal is marked ”21698″.

Barrel Length: 16.25” threaded barrel

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded post and the rear sight is a “U” tangent notch marked from “1 – 8” and “D”.

Stock Configuration & Condition:  The buttstock is a Romanian steel side folder.  The pistol grip is smooth wood. The handguard is two piece wood. Please note that this rifle was purposefully battle worn for on set productions and a visually authentic presentation.  There are heavy compression marks, scrapes, scratches, and nicks throughout the wood. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the folding stock. The stock rates in about Fair-Good overall condition. The right side folding stock folds correctly.  Despite the heavy wear on the wood, there are no cracks.

Magazine Quantity & Condition: One 30rd 7.62×39 Flat Back Chinese Magazine in Very Good condition.

Type of Finish: Blued

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is gray and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.  In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 80% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows wear on the bolt carrier group and all around the receiver. The finish is thinning on all leading edges, with scratches throughout.  There is rust on the barrel threads. The screwheads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Good condition.  Please note, this rifle was made to look battle worn for movie and film productions.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories:  This rifle comes with its attached canvas sling and a total of one magazine as mentioned above.
