Our Assessment: The AR Sales Company Mark IV is a civilian M14 clone. AR Sales started on the semi-automatic M14 type rifle project in October, 1971. There were two production lots, one in 1974 and the other in 1976. It is built on an investment cast receiver. It was built using AR Sales parts and surplus USGI parts. This is a scarce M14 variant that looks great and should do well at the range. Please see our photos and good luck!.
