The barrel is marked with the Ruger Newport address and, “CASPER / WYOMING”. The grip frame is marked, “THE HEART OF COWBOY COUNTRY / 6 OF 100”. There is engraving throughout.
Barrel Length: 7 1/2″
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a micro adjustable square notch leaf in a base pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration and Condition: This revolver has two-piece laminated wood panels with silver Ruger medallions and engravings of Lt. Casper Collins & the Mormon Ferry. There are no notable handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Like-New condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10 and appears unfired outside of factory testing.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99%+ of its metal finish. There is a crisp turn line on the cylinder. There are no notable handling marks. The hammer is jeweled. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Excellent to Like-New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The American Legacy Firearms Casper Heritage revolver is a specially embellished Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk created to commemorate the history and identity of Casper, Wyoming. Built on Ruger’s robust six-shot .44 Magnum single-action platform, this limited-edition example is numbered 6 of 100 and features extensive historical engraving, a 24-karat gold-plated finish, a jeweled hammer, and specially decorated laminate grips. The imagery honoring Lieutenant Caspar Collins, the Mormon Ferry, and Casper’s Western heritage gives the revolver strong regional character, while the 7 1/2-inch barrel and adjustable sights retain the traditional sporting configuration of the Super Blackhawk. This example remains in Excellent to Like-New condition, retaining more than 99% of its American Legacy-applied finish. The gold-plated surfaces exhibit no notable handling marks, while the cylinder shows a crisp turn line from the action having been cycled. The screw heads remain sharp, the pins are undamaged, and the engraving and factory markings remain clear and well defined. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and no visible erosion, rating 10/10 in this writer’s opinion and appearing unfired outside of factory testing. The engraved laminate grip panels show no notable wear, chips, or cracks and rate in Like-New condition.
