The balance of the finish loss is in light handling and operational wear on the barrel, magazine tube, action bars, and receiver edges. The screw heads are generally sharp, the pins are unmarred, and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The IMI Timber Wolf was an unusual late-20th-century sporting carbine that paired familiar slide-action handling with revolver-cartridge chamberings and a tubular magazine. Manufactured in Israel and imported by Action Arms during its short U.S. sales run, it occupies a distinctive niche among pistol-caliber repeating rifles and reflects IMI’s memorable venture into the American sporting market.
This .357 Magnum example preserves the Timber Wolf’s original sporting character, with its walnut furniture, blued finish, and integral optics rail forming a coherent period configuration. Light use and subtle plum-gray toning give the rifle honest age while its strong overall condition highlights the clean lines and unconventional design that distinguish the model.
