Our Assessment: The Remington R-25 is a large-frame, gas-operated semi-automatic hunting rifle produced for Remington by DPMS and built around the AR-10-style platform. Chambered in 7mm-08 Remington with a 20″ fluted barrel and 1:10″ twist, this example combines the quick follow-up capability of a semi-automatic action with a versatile, moderate-recoiling hunting cartridge well suited for deer, antelope, and similar medium game. Its integral Picatinny optics rail, fixed stock, cylindrical handguard, and Mossy Oak Treestand camouflage give the rifle a distinctly field-oriented configuration.

This rifle is in Very Good condition overall, retaining about 95% of its original metal finish with light muzzle wear and scattered scratches and dings on the barrel. The Mossy Oak Treestand furniture also remains in Very Good condition with light wear on the comb and a few small dings on the handguard, while the pistol-grip checkering remains well defined. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and some fouling, rating 9.5/10, while the action and safety function correctly. It includes one Excellent-condition 10-round Magpul PMag.
