Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Bradley style white bead. There is also a brass mid bead. The top of the rib is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is a two piece checkered walnut with a round profile finger shelf forend and a semi-pistol grip stock with large right handed palm swell, fluted comb and kick eez butt pad. The length of pull is 14.5″, the drop at comb is 1 3/8ths” and drop at heel is 2″. There is a slight right handed cast. The shotgun weighs 8lbs 5oz. The wood shows some light scattered compressions, lines, and small scratches scattered throughout. There are no cracks. The top rear edges of the forend both show chips. The butt pad shows only minor handling. Overall the furniture set is in Very Good-Very Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The smooth bores are mirror bright with no erosion or pitting. Both bores show lines from use and minor plastic fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bores rate 9.25/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. The barrel set shows some scattered very minor marks and some surface rust freckling towards the muzzles. The gold toned trigger shows some finish loss. There is some minor rub wear from the forend that is concealed when assembled. The markings are clear, the screw heads are sharp. Overall, this shotgun is in Very Good+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes a Caesar Guerini lockable case, choke wrench, the above mentioned chokes, choke case and gun socks.
Our Assessment: This Rizzini S1000 is a refined Italian over-under shotgun designed with sporting use in mind. It features 32-inch barrels chambered for 12 gauge 3-inch shells and threaded for XLB choke tubes, providing the barrel length and choke flexibility well suited to sporting clays. A Bradley-style front sight and mid bead provide a clean sighting reference along the rib, while the substantial barrels give the shotgun a smooth, deliberate swing through crossing and rising targets.
The shotgun is fitted with attractive walnut furniture featuring a finger-shelf forend and semi-pistol grip stock with a large right-handed palm swell, providing a secure and comfortable hold.
