Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver has a 10″ picatinny rail for optic options. There is also a second 2″ off set rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is FDE polymer with rubber buttpad, sling ring, foldable vertical foregrip, and QD sling ring at the front base of the sight assembly. There are faint scratches throughout. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. Overall, the stock rates in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. There is light fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows virtually no signs of wear. There are a few faint scratches throughout. The screw heads are sharp. The pins are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle is in about Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Steyr AUG is one of the most recognizable bullpup rifle designs in the world, originally adopted by the Austrian military in 1977 as the StG 77. The modern AUG A3 M1 retains the compact bullpup layout, quick-detachable cold-hammer-forged barrel, short-stroke gas-piston operating system, and rotating bolt of the original design while incorporating Picatinny rails for modern optics and accessories. This example is the NATO-stock configuration, allowing the use of common AR-15/STANAG magazines rather than proprietary AUG magazines. Chambered for 5.56x45mm NATO/.223 Remington with a 16″ barrel, its bullpup layout provides a full-length rifle barrel in a notably compact overall package.
This rifle retains approximately 99% of its original metal finish with virtually no wear beyond a few faint scratches. The FDE polymer stock remains in Fine condition with only minor handling marks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, no visible erosion, and light fouling in the grooves, rating 9/10 in this writer’s opinion. The action functions correctly, though we did not fire this rifle, and one 30-round AR-15/STANAG magazine is included.
