Sights / Optics: The front sight is a green fiber optic rod on a ramped base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a wide “V”-notch leaf and elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel with a white triangle aiming reference. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped and filled at the chamber ring and to each side of the bolt for a scope mount, none present.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with straight grip, banded forend, and solid black rubber Winchester buttpad. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. There is little to no handling wear. The LOP measures 13 3/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stocks are in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish is strong and complete throughout. There is no notable operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in Excellent – Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly and smoothly. The shotgun has a rebounding hammer, crossbolt safety, and a lever safety. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: Introduced in 2001, the Winchester Model 9410 was an unusual smoothbore adaptation of the legendary Model 94 lever-action platform, chambered exclusively for 2 1/2″ .410 shells. The Traditional configuration paired a 24″ smoothbore barrel with a full-length tubular magazine, straight-grip walnut stocks, adjustable rifle-style sights, and the familiar exposed-hammer Model 94 action. Winchester’s own period literature lists the 24″ cylinder-bore Traditional model and confirms a magazine capacity of up to nine shells, making the 9410 a distinctive combination of classic Winchester handling and small-bore shotgun utility.
This early crossbolt-safety example remains in Excellent – Like New condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original blue finish with exceptionally clean checkered walnut furniture and a bright 10/10 bore. The action functions smoothly, and the serial-matching factory box adds meaningful collector value to an already exceptionally well-preserved shotgun. Produced for only a relatively short period before New Haven production ended, the 9410 has developed a strong following among Winchester and lever-action collectors, and this clean 24″ Traditional example represents the model particularly well.
