Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post. The front sight is an adjustable post. The rear sight is an “U” notch marked 1-10 with “0” for the battle position. The left side of the receiver has a side mounted rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock set is a four piece synthetic with an adjustable straight comb, adjustable buttstock, rubber buttpad, hogue finger grooved semi pistol grip, and vented forend. There are scratches and compression marks throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the fully extended out buttpad. The stock rates in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 8.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light handling and operation wear. There are scratches from operation wear on the receiver and side rail. There is light thinning on the muzzle device. The rivets and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. This rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Zastava PAP M77PS is a Serbian-made semi-automatic rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and based on Zastava’s Kalashnikov-derived M77 family. The factory system uses gas operation, a rotating bolt, detachable box magazine, and adjustable gas regulator. This example has been substantially reconfigured from that original sporting layout with an adjustable stock, separate Hogue pistol grip, vented forend, 20-round magazine, and removable slant brake while retaining the characteristic side optics rail and adjustable gas system.
This rifle rates in about Very Good overall condition and retains approximately 99% of its original metal finish. The metal shows only light handling and operational wear, including scratches at the receiver and side optics rail and light thinning on the muzzle device. The synthetic furniture rates in about Very Good condition with scattered scratches and compression marks but no reported chips or cracks. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, no erosion, and fouling in the grooves, rating 8.5/10 in this writer’s opinion. The action functions correctly, though the rifle was not test fired.
