Markings: Top of the receiver is marked “ALTERATIONS TO THIS FIREARM ARE UNSAFE AND ILLEGAL READ MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING”. Left side of the receiver is marked “UZI semi-auto MODEL A 9mm PARA IMI-ISRAEL” with the “S” and “F” for Safe and Fire near the safety selector. The right side of the receiver is marked “ACTION ARMS, LTD Phila, Pa. SA 09800”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “13”.
Barrel Length: 16″ functional barrel also includes 3.5″ non functional display barrel.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post and the rear sight is L-type flip aperture with markings for 100m and 200m.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The metal receivers and synthetic pistol grip and foreguard show very little wear. The folding steel buttstock and safeties all function correctly. Two sling mounts are located on the left side of the receiver and stock. The LOP measures 8.5″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the folded buttstock or 15.5″ from the trigger to the back of the unfolded buttstock. Overall this furniture rates in Excellent condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes four 25rd 9mm magazines in Very Good+ Condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mirror bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. If this barrel was fired outside of factory testing it was very little. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle is in Excellent condition. Showing minor handling, a few small marks on the friction surfaces of the folding stock and slight discoloration from age and storage.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: This IMI-Israel Uzi Model A is a highly desirable pre-ban semi-automatic 9mm carbine with strong collector appeal, especially given its Action Arms import markings, folding steel buttstock, serialized factory box, manual, paperwork, sling, four 25-round magazines, and both the functional 16″ barrel and short non-functional display barrel. The rifle presents in Excellent condition overall, with only minor handling marks, light friction wear on the folding stock surfaces, and slight age or storage-related discoloration. The original parkerized black finish, clear markings, and complete accessory package make this a notably strong example.
The bore condition is exceptional, described as mirror bright with sharp rifling and no erosion, rating 10/10 in the writer’s opinion. The description suggests that if the rifle was fired beyond factory testing, it saw very little use. Mechanically, the action functions correctly, though the rifle has not been test fired. The adjustable front post and 100/200-meter L-type flip rear aperture are correct and practical, while the 16″ barrel keeps the rifle in carbine configuration.
The furniture and controls are also in Excellent condition, with the synthetic pistol grip, foreguard, folding stock, safeties, and sling mounts all described as functioning correctly and showing very little wear. The four included 25-round magazines rate Very Good+, adding further value and usability. Overall, this is an excellent-condition IMI Uzi Model A package with outstanding bore condition, strong originality, desirable pre-ban configuration, and unusually complete factory accessories, making it appealing both as a collectible import and as a functional semi-auto pistol-caliber carbine.
