Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into a ramped base screwed to the barrel. The left side of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a receiver sight, none installed. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for a scope. There is a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9×40 BDC installed. We cannot guarantee the functionality of optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one piece smooth gray laminate, semi pistol grip, beavertail forend, raised monte carlo cheekpiece, and rubber recoil pad. There are sling mounts installed. The LOP is 13 1/2″ from trigger to recoil pad. There are some scratches and light handling wear throughout. There is a notable scratch on the left side of the buttstock.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. There is light corrosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 8/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original metal finish. There are light handling marks and scratches. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in Good to Very Good condition mostly due to bore condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Remington Model 700 LSS Ultimate In-Line Muzzleloader represents a modern adaptation of the proven Model 700 action into the black powder hunting market. Produced in 2017 and marked accordingly as the “Remington Model 700 Ultimate ML,” this rifle blends centerfire bolt action ergonomics with in-line muzzleloading performance. The stainless 26 inch barrel and gray laminate stock provide a weather resistant configuration suited to modern muzzleloader seasons. This example retains approximately 95 percent of its original metal finish, showing only light handling wear and minor scratches, with clear markings and sharp screw heads, placing it overall in Good to Very Good condition.
Chambered in .50 caliber, the 700 Ultimate ML was designed to deliver consistent ignition and improved ballistic performance within the framework of contemporary muzzleloading regulations.
