Markings: The right side of the frame is marked “578-81086” with a Ruger Phoenix. The barrel is marked, “RUGER SP101 / .327 FED. MAG.” with a Newport address.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed to the barrel. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch pinned to the topstrap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a single piece textured rubber with smooth inset wood panels. There are faint rub marks throughout. There are no rips or chunks missing nor are there any chips or cracks. Overall the grips are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is very bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore but there are moderate factory chatter marks. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its finish. There is minimal wear throughout. There is a faint turn-line in the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements. The cylinder is factory cut for moon clips.

The factory grip assembly remains in excellent condition with only faint handling wear present and no visible structural damage.
