Our Assessment: This Wilkinson Arms Terry 9mm Luger Carbine is an uncommon modern pistol-caliber semi-automatic rifle with distinctive styling and collector interest. Built as a blowback-operated 9mm carbine fed by detachable magazines, it features a 16″ barrel with fixed flash hider and booster cone, protected fixed front blade sight, protected rear peep sight, matte black and blued finish, and a fixed wood buttstock paired with synthetic forend and checkered polymer grip panels. Its Wilkinson Arms Parma, Idaho markings are clear, and the included pair of 31-round stick magazines adds to the completeness and appeal of the package.
Condition is very good overall. The rifle retains approximately 97% of its metal finish, with only very minor handling and operational wear, along with a few scuffs and scratches. The screw heads are sharp, the markings are clear, and the action is reported to function correctly. The bore is a major strength, rated 9.75/10 in the writer’s opinion, with a bright interior, sharp rifling, and no visible erosion. The furniture is also in Very Good condition, with sharp grip-panel checkering and only minor scratches and nicks scattered throughout, though the buttstock is noted as lacking a buttplate or recoil pad.
Overall, this Wilkinson Arms Terry carbine presents as a well-preserved and relatively unusual 9mm semi-automatic carbine with strong bore condition and good accessory support from the two included magazines. Its distinctive design, high remaining finish, clear markings, and functional mechanics should appeal to collectors of uncommon pistol-caliber carbines as well as shooters interested in non-mainstream 9mm rifle designs. While it has not been test-fired and should be cleaned or inspected to the buyer’s standards, it appears mechanically sound and lightly used, with its primary limitations being minor cosmetic wear and the absence of a buttplate or pad.
