Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated, ramped blade fixed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a serrated square notch adjustable for windage and elevation in a base pinned to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are a two-piece smooth walnut with golden Rampant Colt medallions. There is very limited handling wear on the grips. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion or fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates at 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 99% of its original metal finish. There are very minor signs of handling and operation. The case color is strong and vibrant. The screw heads are sharp, pins are unmarred, and the markings are clear and legible. Overall, this revolver rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The lock up is tight with no perceived play. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements

This example remains in Excellent condition, retaining approximately 99% of its original finish with only very minor handling marks. The blued steel and vibrant case-colored frame present with strong visual contrast, highlighting the revolver’s clean lines and classic styling. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and rates a 9.75 out of 10 in this writer’s opinion. The smooth walnut grips with Rampant Colt medallions are well-preserved, showing only minimal signs of handling. The action functions correctly with tight lockup and no perceived play, reflecting the precise fit and finish expected from Colt’s modern production.
