Markings: The left side of the trunnion is marked Circle “10” and “AB 28 1475”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “MOD: BB75SF / CAL: 5.45X39 / S/N: AB281475 / BLACKBUSH ARMORY / SAND SPRINGS, OK”. The rear of the dust cover is marked “AB 1475”. The right side of the carrier is marked “1475”. The bolt is marked “1475”. The extractor is marked “475”.
Barrel Length: 16.25” threaded. 18.25” with Muzzle Brake.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post with protective wings. The rear sight is a “U” notched leaf sliding sight escalator. The gas tube has been replaced with a Ultimak M1-B picatinny rail. A Holosun 403GL Elite green dot has been installed.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set is 3 piece synthetic with semi pistol grip, wood lower forend, Ultimak M1-B picatinny rail gas tube, and folding triangle stock with paracord wrapped on the top bar. There is light wear on the wooden lower forend and semi pistol grip. There are scratches and compression marks. There are a couple of spots of light furniture finish loss on the forend. The checkering on the semi pistol grip is sharp. The rest of the furniture has little to no wear. The LOP measures 13.25” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.
This rifle comes with an extra wooden lower forend and upper forend. There are scratches and compression marks throughout. There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is fouling in the grooves. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light operation wear. The finish is strong and complete throughout. The screw heads are sharp and the rivets are unmarred. The markings are crisp. Overall this rifle is in about Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Blackbush Armory BB74SF is a modern semi-automatic AK-74 pattern rifle built from a Bulgarian Circle 10 parts kit, one of the more desirable AK-74 origins due to its military production quality and consistent machining. Centered around a long stroke gas piston system with a 5.45x39mm chambering, the AK-74 platform was introduced in the 1970s as the Soviet successor to the AKM, offering reduced recoil and improved controllability. This build incorporates contemporary enhancements such as an Ultimak M1-B railed gas tube and mounted Holosun optic while retaining the core Kalashnikov architecture.
This example retains about 98 percent of its finish with light operational wear and a strong, uniform appearance across the metal surfaces. The mixed furniture set includes a folding triangle stock with paracord wrap, synthetic grip, and wood lower handguard showing light wear, scratches, and minor finish loss but no structural issues, rating in Very Good condition overall. An additional wood handguard set is included. The bore is bright with sharp rifling and light fouling present, rating 9 out of 10 in this writer’s opinion. The action functions correctly and the rifle includes one Bulgarian Circle 10 30 round magazine, ALG trigger, and canvas sling.
