Sights / Optics: The National Match front sight on the M1A™ Scout rifle features a 0.062″ crisp blade. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight. This rifle also features a 6″ picatinny rail for the mounting of optics currently carrying a Bushnell Banner 3-9×40 scope with a simple duplex reticle and 1/4MOA covered turrets. The light transmission is good and the sight picture is clear. The turrets adjust with positive clicks. The exterior of the scope shows some handling wear with some surface level lines. Overall the scope is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a checkered composite stock with composite upper handguard and rubber butt pad. The stock also has two sling swivels and has been fitted with a strap on cheek piece/riser. The stock was FDE but has been rattle canned camo. The LOP measures 13.5” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt pad. The butt pad is soft and pliable and shows only minor handling. The rest of the stock shows some minor handling wear with some scattered marks in the paint. There are no chips or cracks. The magazine well shows some rub wear. Overall the stock is in about Very Good condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This rifle includes 2 x Checkmate 7.62x51mm / 308 Win 10rd box magazines both in Very Good+ condition. There is one x 20 round Springfield magazine in Very Good condition, and one x 20 round magazine that appears to have been partially painted brown, shows surface rust, and is in Fair+ condition. 4 magazines total.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. The bolt face and muzzle device are very clean. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains 98% of its metal finish. The friction surfaces of the bolt and receiver show barely visible rub wear. The rest of the rifle shows only minor marks and handling. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall this rifle is in about Very Good+-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle includes the four magazines, green canvas sling, cheek riser, Springfield zippered case, manual and paperwork.
