Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel. The rear sight is an adjustable spring leaf semi buckhorn with elevator dovetailed into the barrel. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is two piece smooth hardwood, banded forend, straight grip, straight comb, and checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. The LOP is 13 1/2″ from trigger to buttplate. There is light handling wear. There are a few scratches and compression dents scattered throughout. There are no chips or cracks. Overall this stock is in Very Good to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion. There is light fouling. In this writer’s opinion this bore rates 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original finish. There is light handling and operational wear. There is light scratching scattered throughout. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall this rifle is in Very Good to Excellent condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The rifle has a half-cock safety and a lever safety. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: The Winchester Model 94 is one of the most recognizable American lever-action designs, with a legacy rooted in practical field use, fast handling, and reliable service. This example presents as a compact Large Loop Trapper variant, chambered in .45 Colt and fitted with a 16″ round barrel, giving it a handy, maneuverable profile well suited to brush carry, range use, or traditional lever-action collecting. The .45 Colt chambering adds strong Old West appeal while offering mild recoil and good short-range utility, especially in a lightweight carbine format.

This rifle retains the classic Model 94 layout with a full-length tubular magazine, straight-grip hardwood stocks, and traditional open sights. The large loop lever is a desirable feature, offering easier manipulation with gloves and giving the rifle a distinctive saddle-carbine appearance. Altogether, this is an attractive and desirable Trapper-style Model 94, combining compact handling, classic styling, and a popular pistol-caliber chambering.
