Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “SAI, Bessemer, AL” / “.22 l.r.”, the serial number and various proof marks. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, proof marks, and “STEYR ARMS AUSTRIA” and logo. The bolt is marked with the serial number and proof marks.
Barrel Length: 19.7″ Medium weight, spiral hammer forged, and recessed crown
Sights / Optics: The front sight is blade fixed to a serrated ramp base. The rear sight is a square notch fixed to a ramped base. The top of the receiver is dove-tail cut for optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece European walnut, with a fluted straight comb, flared semi-pistol grip with a medallion on the butt, a distinctive Bavarian cheek piece, and a Steyr Arms soft rubber buttpad. There is fish-scale checkering on the grip and forestock. There are sling studs and loops located on the forend and the belly of the buttstock.There is only minor handling wear, with only a couple small scratches noted on the right side. The LOP measures 14 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock rates in Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion. In my opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its finish. There is little to no wear on the finish. The screw heads are sharp and unmarred. The markings are clear and legible. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions as intended. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

The bright bore, sharp rifling, and smooth bolt action further reinforce the rifle’s high quality construction and careful preservation.
