Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked, “GALIL ACE SAR / CAL. 5.56×45 / IWI – ISRAEL” as well as “G1002600” and a QR code. . The safety selector is marked, “S F” on the left side at the top of the pistol grip and “SF” on the safety selector lever on the right side. The right side of the receiver is marked “IWI US MIDDLETOWN, PA CHF/CL 1:7 / H3”
Barrel Length: 8.3”, 9.5” with the A2 flash hider.
Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a L type dual aperture rear sight set between protective wings. The front sight is a post set between protective wings. The top of the receiver has a 10.5” section of picatinny rail for the mounting of optics and accessories.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this pistol includes a quad rail style forend with rail covers, an IWI integral pistol grip with storage, and an SB Tactical pistol brace on a buffer tube adapter connected to a folding stock mount. The furniture on this pistol shows some very minimal handling and some minor discoloration from storage. Overall the furniture is in Like New condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: This pistol includes One Magpul 30 round 5.56 magazine in Like New condition.
Type of Finish: Black and Gray Matte.
Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. If this pistol was fired outside of factory testing it was very little. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows only minor rub wear from the dust cover and some minor discoloration from storage. Overall, this pistol rates in about Excellent+-Like New condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes one magazine, chamber lock with keys, tool, owner’s manual, paperwork, orange chamber flag, and serialized box with foam. .
