Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “USE ONLY / 7mm WBY MAG / (WEATHERBY MAG.)”. The left side of the receiver is marked “MARK V Weatherby / ATASCADERO, CA / MADE IN U.S.A.”, and patent numbers. The right side of the receiver is marked with the serial number. The serial number on the bolt and on the radial muzzle brake matches the serial number on the receiver.
Barrel Length: 26″ Two-Tone Stainless w/ Blued Flutes. 28″ with Radial Muzzle Brake.
Sights / Optics: There are no provisions for iron sights. The top of the receiver is mounted with a two-piece Leupold style base for optics.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece fiberglass stock, with a semi-pistol grip, monte carlo comb with cheekpiece, rubber Decelerator buttpad, and QD sling studs front and rear. The stock is finished with a matte gel coat, and spiderweb accents. The LOP measures 13 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad. The stock shows light rub wear at the front of the forend, more than likely from a bipod. Otherwise, the stock’s finish is intact. The stock fits tightly to the barreled action, with no play. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stock rates in Very Good to Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore, but there is minor fouling present. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its original metal finish. The balance of the finish shows light wear, with a few light scratches and dings scattered throughout the metal surfaces, most notably on the floorplate and trigger guard. Otherwise, the stainless finish is intact throughout. The markings are clear and legible. The screw heads are tooled, but retain strong and serviceable slots. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, as does the safety. The trigger has a crisp and clean break. We did not fire this rifle, but we did perform a mechanic’s check. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The Weatherby Mark V Accumark represents Weatherby’s modern precision hunting platform, combining the strength of the Mark V action with a heavy contour barrel and composite stock built for accuracy under field conditions. Produced during the Atascadero, California period, this Accumark reflects Weatherby’s continued emphasis on high-velocity performance and refined machining. Chambered in 7mm Weatherby Magnum, Roy Weatherby’s high-speed magnum introduced in the 1940s, this cartridge is known for flat trajectory and strong downrange energy, particularly suited to open-country hunting.
This example retains approximately 98 percent of its original stainless and blued finish, with only light handling marks most visible on the floorplate and trigger guard. The two-tone stainless barrel with blued flutes and matching serial-numbered radial muzzle brake remain in Very Good condition, and the bore is bright with sharp rifling, rating 10 out of 10. The fiberglass stock with spiderweb accents shows light rub wear at the forend and maintains tight fit to the action, rating in Very Good to Fine condition. The bolt, brake, and receiver serial numbers match, and the action, safety, and trigger function correctly with a crisp, clean break.
