Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dotted blade dovetailed to the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch sight dovetailed to the slide with two white dots.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece textured black polymer panels. The backstrap and the front of the grip safety also have texturing to improve the grip. The panels show faint handling with no notable blemishes. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in Fine Plus to Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp with light fouling present. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5/10.
Overall Condition: This firearm retains about 95% of its metal finish. The slide is beginning to turn plum. The grip frame shows light handling wear on the finish. There is light edge wear, operational wear on the squeeze cocker, and two small blemishes in the finish on the right side of the slide above the markings. The screw heads are unmarred and remain turnable. The markings are clear and complete. Overall, this firearm is in Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: This Heckler & Koch P7 heel-release pistol was manufactured in 1981 and represents one of the most innovative service pistol designs of the late 20th century. Originally developed for German police trials, the P7 introduced a unique gas-delayed blowback system paired with its signature squeeze-cocking mechanism. The design emphasized safety, mechanical simplicity, and rapid readiness, earning the P7 a strong following among law enforcement and enthusiasts alike.
Chambered in 9mm with a fixed barrel, the P7 is known for its inherent accuracy and low bore axis, contributing to excellent control during firing. The squeeze-cocking lever, integrated into the front strap, allows the pistol to be carried safely while remaining instantly ready when gripped firmly. It is one of those designs where you quite literally have to give it a good squeeze to make it perform. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10, indicating excellent internal condition. The action functions correctly.
