Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade set between two protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight set between two protective wings. A tritium-powered front night sight and ghost ring rear aperture are installed.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The walnut stock has a pistol grip and uses a replacement metal handguard topped with picatinny rail. There are sling swivels mounted at the butt and on the forend. The buttstock has a checkered metal butt plate that swivels up to reveal a second checkered buttplate underneath it. The second buttplate has a trapdoor covering two holes in the stock for storage. The wood stock shows a few small drag lines. The right front of the forearm appears to have had some solvent spilled on it causing discoloration. The LOP measures 13 1/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. The metal shows a few scuffs & light scrapes. The action shows light operational wear. The markings are well defined. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic’s check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with Springfield accessories that include 8 ten-round magazines, a scope base, a soft case, and the original handguard.
