Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is equipped with a picatinny rail for optics mounts. There is a Sig Sierra 6BDX 2-12×40 SFP mounted in Vortex Pro Series rings. We cannot guarantee the functionality of optics. 

Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set consists of an Folding Precision Adjustable Stock, AR Compatible Reduced Angle Grip, and Freefloating Mlok Alloy Forend, There are minor handling marks but no notable damage. Overall this stock set is in Excellent condition. 

Type of Finish: Stainless barrel, Black Anodized Aluminum receiver and stock.

Finish Originality: Original 

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. There is light copper fouling in the bore. In this writer’s opinion this bore rates in 9.5/10.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its original finish. There are minor handling marks but no notable damage. Overall this rifle is in Excellent condition. 

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety engages properly, the bolt cycles smoothly, and the trigger is crisp. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Our Assessment: The SIG Sauer Cross rifle represents a modern precision bolt action platform designed with lightweight field use and long range capability in mind. Manufactured in Newington, New Hampshire, the Cross series blends traditional bolt action operation with contemporary chassis rifle architecture. This example, chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor with an 18 inch barrel and threaded 5/8×24 muzzle, features the factory folding precision adjustable stock and free floating M-LOK alloy forend. The rifle retains approximately 99 percent of its original finish, with only minor handling marks visible and no notable damage, presenting overall in Excellent condition.

Chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a cartridge introduced in 2007 and widely adopted for its efficient ballistics and long range performance, the rifle is built with a 1:8 twist barrel suited to modern high ballistic coefficient projectiles. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, showing no erosion and only light copper fouling. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 9.5 out of 10. The receiver is equipped with a full length Picatinny rail and currently fitted with a SIG Sierra 6BDX 2-12×40 SFP optic mounted in Vortex Pro Series rings, though functionality of optics cannot be guaranteed.

The rifle is fitted with SIG’s folding precision adjustable stock, AR compatible reduced angle grip, and free floating M-LOK handguard, providing a highly adaptable ergonomic layout. The stock and chassis components show only light handling marks and remain in Excellent condition. Mechanically, the bolt cycles smoothly, the safety engages properly, and the trigger breaks cleanly. The rifle is accompanied by its factory box, two 5 round magazines, and the mounted optic. This SIG Sauer Cross stands as a modern precision hunting and field rifle in excellent overall condition.
