The left side of the barrel is marked “BERETTA – GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY / HP 20 Ga. 76 mm for 2 3/4″, 3″-26″-16”. The bottom of the barrel is marked “0158568”. The right side of the receiver is marked “BERETTA”, “Xplor / ACTION”, “XA161395 IT15”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “CN” with two other proofs. The left side of the receiver is marked “A400-Xplor-20 GA / ACTION / MADE IN ITALY – PATENTED”. The bolt is marked “BLINK XA161395”.

Choke: The barrel is threaded for Beretta Optima-HP chokes currently installed with Modified.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is an orange fiber optic rod fixed to the serrated vent rib. The top of the receiver is serrated for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The furniture set on this shotgun is a checkered wood, two piece set, with a thin profile finger grooved forend, semi-pistol grip, fluted straight comb stock with the kick-off dampener system and rubber butt pad with two sling studs. The LOP is 14.25″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt pad. Drop at comb is 1.5″ and drop at heel is 2.” This can also be adjusted with the shim. The furniture set shows minor handling with no notable marrs or marks. Overall the furniture is in about Like New condition.

Finish Originality: Original
Bore Condition: The smooth bore is Very Bright and shows no visible erosion. There are barely visible lines from use and some very minor plastic fouling in the forcing cone. If this barrel has been shot outside of factory testing it has not been shot a lot. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. The receiver shows very minor wear around the ejection port. The barrel shows a few very minor marks scattered throughout. The markings are clear, the pins are unmarred, the piston is mostly clean. Overall, this gun rates in about Excellent+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This shotgun includes its case, two sling swivels, one choke, a very nice sling, and info card.
