Markings: The receiver is marked “U.S. RIFLE 7.62MM M21DMR / BULA / 10958.” The right side of the receiver is marked “BULA DEFENSE SYSTEMS / CLEVELAND, OH.” The Nikon optic is marked “Nikon P-308 Precision AR Optic” with “4-12×40”. The rights side of the barrel “BDS-10106-09”
Barrel Length: 22”, 25″ with compensator.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a simple blade set between protective wings. The rear sight is a fully adjustable aperture sight. The rifle has been mounted with a picatinny rail and is carrying a Nikon P-308 4-12×40 scope with 308 BDC second focal plane reticle 1/4 MOA turrets and scope caps. The sight picture is clear, the light transmission is good, and the turrets adjust with positive clicks. Overall the scope is in Excellent condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an M1A pattern walnut stock with sling loops, a 13” length of pull and a hinged butt plate with storage in the butt. The stock has also had a Fulton Armory picatinny rail added to the forend. The hinged butt plate is slightly bent so it doesn’t close all the way. The wood shows scattered very minor compressions and some surface level lines. There are a few small patches of discoloration. There are no chips or cracks. Overall the stock is in Good+-Very Good condition.
Magazine Quantity & Condition: One (1) detachable 10-round box magazine is included, in Excellent condition.
Type of Finish: Parkerized
Finish Originality: Original.
Bore Condition: The bore is bright, the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The muzzle device shows no verdigris. The feed ramps are smooth and shiny. In this writer’s opinion, the bore rates 10/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its finish. The finish shows some scattered minor marks and surface level lines with none of the marks being noteworthy. The friction surfaces show only barely visible wear. The markings are clear and the screw heads are sharp. Overall the rifle is in visually Excellent condition please see the mechanics section.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety is loose although it does function. The trigger group is very, very tight is the action but can be removed. A twenty round magazine will work in the rifle but has to be inserted with some force. The magazine issue appears to be a result of the bottom metal in the stock not being fitted perfectly. The ten round magazine functions fine. The rifle to stock fit is also very tight. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes in a black hard case with egg-crate style foam interior, fitted with sling, and one 10-round magazine.
