Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “CZECH SMALL ARMS / CZECH REPUBLIC CZECHPOINT / KNOXVILLE. TN”. The left side of the sight assembly is marked “5808957 / SA vz.58 SPORTER / CAL. 7,62×39”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the SCA cartouche.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is an adjustable post sight protected by wings. The rear sight is an square notch sight with sliding escalator.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a four piece beaver barf with a smooth comb, smooth pistol grip, and vented upper forend. There is little to handling wear. There are a few very light scratches. The LOP measures 12.75” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. There are no chips or cracks. The stock rates in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows little to no handling wear and storage wear. The dust cover and bolt have finish loss and scratches throughout. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
