Markings: The right side of the receiver is marked “STEYR ARMS, INC, / AUG/A3 M1 / BESSEMER, AL / CAL .223 S/N: 18USA601”. The right side of the block “5.56×45/.223 REM.”. The bolt is marked “18USA601”. The stock set is completely unmarked.
Barrel Length: 16”. 18.5” with flash hider
Sights / Optics: The top of the receiver has a 10″ picatinny rail for optic options. There is also a second 2″ off set rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is Green polymer with rubber butt pad, sling ring, foldable vertical foregrip, and QD sling ring at the front base of the sight assembly. There are faint drag lines on the buttstock. There is an area with a lot of scratches at the top right side of the buttstock, just behind the ejection port. The LOP measures 15” from the front of the trigger to the back of the butt pad. Overall, the stock rates in about Very Good+ condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no visible erosion in the bore. The muzzle device is mostly clean showing only some very minor verdigris. The feed ramps show some minor copper fouling. In this writer’s opinion the bore rates 9.75/10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 99% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows virtually no signs of wear. The internals are very clean. The markings are crisp. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent-Excellent+ condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle includes a 2020 precision Trigger Sear MOD kit.
